甲基化修饰影响果实生长发育的研究进展

摘 要:

果实生长发育是包括多种转录因子参与的多基因调控的复杂的生物过程, 它不仅受各种植物激素的调控, 还会受到不同类型表观遗传学的修饰。 DNA甲基化、组蛋白甲基化和RNA甲基化是表观遗传修饰中甲基化修饰的三种不同方式。大量研究表明, 这些修饰在果实生长发育过程中发挥重要作用, 它们影响着基因的染色质状态, 进而调控基因的表达水平。番茄、草莓、甜橙和葡萄等不同果实的研究发现,甲基化水平会随着果实的生长发育而发生动态变化, 甲基化水平的变化又会促进或抑制果实的成熟。甲基化修饰在果实生长发育过程中的具体功能机制和作用途径的研究, 有助于深入理解果实生长发育和成熟的调控机理, 并为果实发育调控提供借鉴。本文总结了甲基化修饰影响果实生长发育的研究进展, 梳理了DNA甲基化与果实生长发育研究的思路, 为今后甲基化修饰与果实生长发育研究提供参考。

Progress of methylation modifcation on fruit development

Abstract:

Fruit growth and development is a complex biological process of multi-gene regulation involving a
variety of transcription factors, which is not only regulated by various plant hormones, but also modifed by different types of epigenetic factors. DNA methylation, histone methylation and RNA methylation are three different types of methylation in epigenetic modifcation. A large number of studies have shown that these modifcations played an important role in fruit development, which affected the chromatin status of genes and then regulated the gene expression level. Studies from different fruits, such as tomato, strawberry, sweet orange and grape, demonstrated that methylation levels would change dynamically along the development of fruits, and the change of methylation level would promote or inhibit the ripening of fruits. The study of the specific functional mechanism and pathway of methylation modifications of fruit development could be helpful to understand the regulatory mechanism of fruit development and ripening, and provide the reference for the regulation of fruit development. In this review, the progress of methylation modifcation on fruit development was summarized, and the research strategies of DNA methylation and fruit development were resolved to provide the reference for the future research on methylation and fruit development.
