玉米自交系萌发期和苗期抗旱性指标的筛选

摘 要:

本试验以抗旱性较强的玉米自交系郑58和不抗自交系E28为试材, 利用不同浓度PEG-6000水溶液模拟干旱胁迫, 探究干旱胁迫下种子萌发期及苗期各项指标的变化规律, 以便筛选出能够简便有效的鉴定玉米自交系抗旱性的指标。结果表明, 在萌发期不同干旱胁迫下, 郑58的种子萌发指数、萌发抗旱指数均高于E28, 而吸水率低于E28。在苗期不同干旱胁迫下, 郑58的脯氨酸(Pro)含量和超氧化物歧化酶(SOD)的活性均高于E28, 而丙二醛(MDA)的含量在10%和15% PEG处理下低于E28, 而在20% PEG处理下的则高于E28。因此, 种子萌发指数、萌发抗旱指数、Pro含量、MDA含量和SOD活性均可作为鉴定自交系抗旱性的指标。但综合考虑, 鉴定玉米自交系抗旱性最简便有效的指标是种子萌发抗旱指数, 且最适宜的PEG胁迫浓度为10%和15%。

Screening of drought resistance indexes of maize inbred lines

Abstract:

Drought-resistant maize inbred line Zheng 58 and sensitive inbred line E28 were used in this study. The treatments of 0, 10%, 15%, 20% and 25% PEG-6000 aqueous solutions were used to explore the changes of 6 indexes in germination and seedling period under drought stress in order to identify easy and effective evaluating indicator. The results showed that germination index and grain drought-resistance index (GDRI) of Zheng 58 were higher than those of E28 under different drought stresses, but the water absorption was lower than that of E28. The content of proline (Pro) and activity of superoxide dismutase (SOD) in Zheng 58 were higher than those in E28 whereas the content of malondialdehyde (MDA) was lower than that in E28 under 10% and 15% PEG-6000 stress, but higher than that in E28 under 20% PEG-6000 stress. So the seed germination index, GDRI, Pro content, MDA content and SOD activity could be used as indicators to evaluate the drought-resistance of inbred lines. Thinking out the simplicity and effect, GDRI was the simple and most effective index for drought-resistance evaluation of maize inbred lines, and the most suitable PEG stress concentration was 10% and 15%.
