植物microRNA的研究进展

摘 要:

microRNA (miRNA)是一类广泛存在于真核生物和病毒中的内源性非编码单链RNA, 长度通常为21~24个核苷酸, 在进化上具有高度保守性。由于其在生物生长发育和疾病发生过程中起到重要调节作用, 现已成为生物学研究的热点。本文从miRNA的合成过程、结构特点、作用机制特别是相关功能等方面概述了植物miRNA的一些研究进展。

Abstract:

MicroRNAs (miRNAs) are a group of endogenous non-coding single-stranded RNAs which extensively exist in eukaryotic cells and viruses. They are about 21–24 nucleotides long and highly conserved in phylogeny. For their important roles in the developmental timing control and disease occurrence, miRNAs have become one of the hotspots in biological research. Here we briefly review the research advances in knowledge of the plant miRNAs on their synthesis, structural characteristics, mechanism of action and especially the functions.
